Chad Lenamon

Chad Lenamon

Chad Lenamon is the president and chief executive officer of Pegasus Optimization Managers, LLC. Previously, he was president and chief operating officer of CDM. During his tenure, Chad led the company to increase its operating horsepower fleet by more than 40 percent in less than three years. For his efforts, Chad was honored with an Industry Leader award by the Oil & Gas Awards in 2015.

Chad joined CDM as one of its first ten employees in 1998.  He quickly advanced through the company’s management—holding various positions including field technician, operations superintendent and senior vice president of operations.  

While in these roles, Chad proved invaluable to the company’s growth and efficiency. For instance, as installation manager, he was responsible for improving both compressor design and installation methods, and he also supervised the company’s first inland and offshore waters installations. Additionally, Chad developed the company’s “best in class” maintenance and inventory systems, and he also worked to expand the company’s operations footprint to new states and shale plays.

He began his career in 1995 at Hanover Compression. In sum, Chad has more than 20 years of operations and executive experience in the gas compression industry.

Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez is chief financial officer of Pegasus Optimization Managers, LLC. Carlos has more than twenty years in various positions in accounting, finance and M&A with both public and private companies. Most recently, Carlos served as vice president of finance of Encino Energy, LLC, an independent, private equity backed E&P company.

Earlier, Carlos served as chief financial officer of Zephyr Gas Services, LLC, a gas treating company acquired by Regency Gas Partners, LP in 2010. Carlos began his career in public accounting with KPMG.

Carlos holds a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a certified public accountant in Texas.

Jeremy Osborne

Jeremy Osborne

Jeremy Osborne is chief legal officer of Pegasus Optimization Managers, LLC. Previously, he served as vice president and general counsel of Alpha Reclaim Technology, LLC.  While at Alpha, Jeremy oversaw the company’s legal and regulatory affairs. Earlier, Jeremy served as legal counsel to CDM. He has also worked for Dewey LeBeouf LLP and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, DC.

Jeremy has been a contributing writer to Texas Eagle Ford Shale Magazine and a frequent speaker on oil and gas topics, including engagements at the Texas Water Summit, a joint meeting of the Texas House Energy Legislative Caucus and Texas Senate Eagle Ford Shale Caucus, and the American Water Resources Association. He has also been featured in interviews in The New York Times, the San Antonio Express-News, the American Oil and Gas Reporter, and on CNBC’s “Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo” and Al Jazeera America’s “America Tonight.”

Jeremy is a member of the Texas A&M Liberal Arts Advisory Council, the Chancellor’s Century Council, and a former member of the Texas A&M Young Alumni Advisory Council. In 2014, The Association of Former Students named him one of “20 Young Aggies on the Rise.” He is a member of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce Leadership Brazos class of 2018. In 2017, he was appointed to the City of College Station Planning and Zoning Commission.

Jeremy holds a BS from Texas A&M University and a JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy and elected to the Order of the Coif. Jeremy also published a peer-reviewed case note and completed law clinic programs at Georgetown and Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and the District of Columbia.

Shane Estes

Shane Estes

Shane Estes is the vice president of sales of Pegasus. Shane brings more than 30 years of operations, engineering, and sales experience to the executive team. Previously, he served as a sales/application engineer at AG Equipment Company.

Shane began his career at Guerra Engineering in 1988, and he remained with the company when it was acquired by the Hanover Company in 1991. At Hanover, Shane garnered experience in various disciplines including operations, engineering, procurement, safety, and sales.

Thereafter, Shane worked at Weatherford International, Universal Compression, Inc., and CDM Resource Management. Most recently, at AG, Shane worked with new and existing clients to design custom compression equipment, optimize projects for specific field conditions, and ensure efficient solutions for all applications.

A native of Victoria, Texas, Shane attended Victoria College.

Justin Head

Justin Head

Justin Head is the vice president of business development and marketing of Pegasus Optimization Managers, LLC. Previously, Justin served as a compression gas treating account manager for CDM. During his tenure at the company, Justin sold more than 110,000 horsepower of compression each year and was directly responsible for increasing fleet utilization by nearly 10 percent.

Earlier, Justin was an account manager and field technician at Valerus Compression, LP. Prior to beginning work in the gas compression industry, Justin served in the United States Marine Corps for nearly 10 years. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, where he served as an instructor of mechanics on various military aircraft.

Justin attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Wyoming Technical Institute. He is a member of the American Petroleum Institute, Veterans of Foreign War and the Marine Corps League.

Brett Schubert

Brett Schubert

Brett Schubert is vice president operations support of Pegasus. Brett has more than a decade of financial and operations support experience. Brett joined Pegasus from CDM Resource Management, LLC, where he served as a senior financial analyst.

Brett began his career at T-C Oil Company where he worked in various operations support roles, including financial analysis and regulatory compliance.

At CDM, Brett quickly rose through the ranks for his ability to quickly and capably synthesize financial information and its impact on operations as well as his ability to share such information with various departments.

Brett is also the co-founder of Coastal Bend Aggies, a non-profit group that area youth pursuing careers in agriculture in the coastal bend region of Texas.

Brett holds a BA from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Sam Houston State University.

Richard Childress

Richard Childress

Richard Childress is the vice president of operations of Pegasus Optimization Managers, LLC. Previously, he was senior vice president of operations for CDM. Richard brings more than 18 years of oil and gas industry experience to Pegasus.

Richard began his oilfield career at Weatherford Enterra in 1997, and Richard moved to Hanover Compressor Company in 1999. While there, he was quickly promoted to superintendent where he increased his area’s horsepower by 35 percent.

In 2006, Richard joined CDM as a superintendent in southeast Texas. Richard’s focus has always been on employee development and safety. Richard spearheaded the supervisor in training (SIT) program for relevant managerial development. In 2013, his region was awarded the CDM Safest Region Award acknowledging the lowest TRIR among the company.
